Meet the Team

  • Hi! My name is Kristin Siciliano and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Bridgewater State University and my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University.

I have clinical and management experience at nearly all higher levels of eating disorder care, where I provided individual, group, and family therapy for a diverse caseload of clients. Through my work in higher levels of care, I developed a therapeutic style that is rooted in the belief that everyone is worthy of health, recovery, and a positive relationship with food and their body, no matter their size. My goal is to create a space that feels safe and supportive enough to make positive change happen.

I specialize in eating disorders (Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, OSFED), self-esteem challenges, anxiety disorders, depression, and self-harming behaviors in young adults (18+) and adults. I have a particular interest in exploring the intersection of eating disorders and both religious trauma and borderline personality disorder (BPD). In our work together, I will utilize evidence-based treatment approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI). My approach is strengths-based and person-centered, with the belief that therapy is not "one size fits all." We will work as a team to figure out what is most supportive and effective for you. I take a collaborative approach and enjoy staying connected with other members of your treatment team in order to ensure your success.

Outside of the office, you can find me taking Willow for a gorgeous scenic walk, trying new restaurants with friends, voraciously reading thrillers, or planning my next vacation.

  • Willow is a certified therapy dog through Dog B.O.N.E.S of Massachusetts. She is a 5-year-old mutt who Kristin adopted from Puerto Rico in 2021. She has a calm, sweet demeanor and absolutely loves to be around and love on people. Willow takes her job as a therapy dog very seriously and can be relentless in letting you know she's there for you if you need support. Some of her favorite things include peanut butter, Benebones, snow, and curling up with Kristin on a blanket.

Please note that Willow will be present during all in-person sessions, though most of her time will probably be spent taking a nap (she loves her job but the long days can be ruff on her). If you are allergic to or fearful of dogs, we can discuss virtual sessions as an alternative.
