Hi, I’m Kristin!

Hello!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Bridgewater State University and my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University.

I have clinical and management experience at nearly all higher levels of eating disorder care, where I provided individual, group, and family therapy for a diverse caseload of clients. Through my work in higher levels of care, I developed a therapeutic style that is rooted in the belief that everyone is worthy of health, recovery, and a positive relationship with food and their body, no matter their size. My goal is to create a space that feels safe and supportive enough to make positive change happen.

I specialize in eating disorders (Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, OSFED), self-esteem challenges, anxiety disorders, depression, and self-harming behaviors in young adults (18+) and adults. I have a particular interest in exploring the intersection of eating disorders and both religious trauma and borderline personality disorder (BPD). In our work together, I will utilize evidence-based treatment approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI). My approach is strengths-based and person-centered, with the belief that therapy is not "one size fits all." We will work as a team to figure out what is most supportive and effective for you. I take a collaborative approach and enjoy staying connected with other members of your treatment team in order to ensure your success.

Outside of the office, you can find me taking my dog, Willow, for a gorgeous scenic walk, trying new restaurants with friends, voraciously reading thrillers, or planning my next vacation.
